Hypotension Causes

In the modern day lifestyle there are many factors that may disrupt the normal functioning of the heart. There are various hypotension causes which can be summarized as given below:

Some of the most common hypotension causes include various heart conditions like heart attack and heart valve disease. This also includes other hypotension causes like heart valve disease, heart failure or bardycardia. These disorders may restrict the free flow of blood in the body leading to several underlying problems.

Some major hypotension causes include anemia where a lack of hemoglobin in the blood cells leads to low levels of oxygen in the blood. There are many endocrine disorders that are known hypotension causes. This includes thyroid disorders, hypoglycemia, Addison’s disease and diabetes. Over usage of certain medicines like diuretics, calcium channel blockers, ACE inhibitors, nitrates and beta blockers are some of the known hypotension causes. In certain cases the central nervous system and the cardiac system may not be able to communicate properly and this can be a cause of neutrally mediated hypotension. In case of shock, the blood pressure may fall to very low levels and this may require immediate medical attention. Excessive exposure to nitrates and beta blockers can also be described as hypotension causes.
